Pierre Bienvenu was called and sent on a journey of faith without a roadmap, or even a road, but with a vision, a Presence and a purpose: to gather together in communion the scattered children of God.

He traced out a path for us to walk in the footsteps of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Successive Holy Family generations continue making the path.

What Holy Family members do, our work, how we are involved among the people of God, is determined by our shared vision of family which is our thrust for communion. We participate in many diverse ways in the mission of Christ.

We move as part of humanity towards a choice for Life discerning the calls of the Spirit in thesigns of the times, times now that hold at once “great peril and great promise”

 Choosing life today calls us: to be attentive to the voice of the poor, to a new reverence for our earth, to a realisation that all forms of life in the universe exist in total interdependence and as an intimately inter-related whole. Alert to all that destroys and threatens the life of our planet we give ourselves so that all of creation, brought together in Christ, may find fullness of life.
